Worship
Morning worship is at 11.00am each Sunday in our building just past the public park in High Street. Lighthouse is for children of any age and meets during this service.
In July and August there is also a short, informal "Early Bird" service at 10 am
An evening service is held at 7.00 pm from September until June. This is a more informal service and is usually led by the worship team
Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday morning of February, May and November, and on the 3rd Sunday of the month September till June at evening services.
Prayer
and Food is a twice monthly event, on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month
from 5.30 to 6.30 pm in the Russell Street hall. We meet for some worship and
prayers for others and then share some simple food with tea and biscuits. This
time is for everyone. You don’t need anything other than the wish to pray for
other people. With this in mind, there are prayer request cards available in the
church buildings which you can fill in and hand to the elders on door duty on
Sunday. Prayer requests can be for anything, which gives you, concern or cause
for celebration. Nothing is too great or too small for prayer and the details on
the cards can be as specific or anonymous as you feel. This is an important part
of our live as a congregation and not simply a bolt on extra. Give it your
thoughts and prayers. For further details contact Raymond Deans 504893
