Banner Making Group meet on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month at 10 am in St Brendan's Church Centre. They plan and make banners to enhance our buildings and our worship
Befrienders
Part of our Vision Statement is that we aim to “support our members…...through
the development of fellowship and the Christian care of those in need.” The
Befrienders group hope to further this aim by visiting those who are housebound
or not so able to mix with others as they used to be and would value
companionship with someone from the church

1st Port Bannatyne Boys’ Brigade Company is open to both
boys and girls from September till June. The Anchor section (Primary 1 - 3)
meets every Tuesday evening from 5 - 6 pm pm and the Junior Section (primary 4 -
7) from 6 - 7 pm in the Port Bannatyne Village Hall. They take part in games, sport,
Christian education and much more.
Church of Scotland Guild
The Guild is a movement within the
Church of Scotland that encourages both women and men to commit their lives to
Jesus Christ and enables them to express their faith in worship, prayer and
action. Meetings normally include worship, a speaker or demonstration and news
of, or work on, National Projects.
Rothesay Branch
Thursday evenings from mid October-March at 7.30 pm in Russell Street Hall.
Kilchattan Bay
Branch Every second Monday
mid-October-March at 2.30 pm in Kilchattan Bay Church Hall

House Group
meets every Thursday evening at 7.30 pm for Bible study, fellowship, tea and
chat. Meetings are held in members’ houses and are very informal.
Ladies Social Club meets in St Ninian’s Church
Hall every Thursday evening at 7.30 pm. After a talk or demonstration they enjoy
tea, biscuits and chat.
Lighthouse
is for children
of any age and meets on Sunday mornings at 9.30 am in St. Ninian’s Church Hall.
On the first Sunday of the month (for joint services) we meet at 11.15 am
wherever the church service is being held i.e. The High Kirk, St. Ninian’s or
Kilchattan Bay .We
have a time of worship and then go into age specific groups for further
learning. We then join with the congregation for the last 15 minutes of the
service. During school holidays there may be different arrangements.

Praise Band
(Selah)
meet on an ad hoc basis and are always looking for new
members who can play an instrument and/or sing. They provide a new dimension to
our praise, making it richer and fuller.
Prayer
and Food is a twice monthly event, on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month
from 5.30 to 6.30 pm in the Russell Street hall. We meet for some worship and
prayers for others and then share some simple food with tea and biscuits.
Ramblers
meet for reasonably gentle walks
on Monday evenings from May till the end of August when the weather is suitable.
They gather outside the Russell Street Hall at 7 pm and generally walk for 1—1½
hours. No climbing or scrambling is involved.
Worship Team meet on the 3rd Wednesday evening of the month to discuss and plan
